Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech and language therapy to K-12 students.
- Implement individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication.
- Track and document student progress, ensuring goals are met in alignment with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to create a consistent support system for students.
- Support students in various educational settings, including general education and special education classrooms.
- Maintain professional and clear communication with all team members to enhance therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current SLPA certification in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain certification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, teachers, and parents.
- Previous experience with K-12 students is preferred but not required.
